Devils Lake Fishing Report – August 3rd 2018

Written by Mike Peluso

Devils Lake started a little devilish this morning but rebounded nicely as the weather and the warmth hit the water. All the spots we fished this morning for a while and places we marked them, we went back and the bite was on by 11. Proves that our electronics work, but sometimes the fish are not corporating. Spinners and slow death were the baits of choice. Most of the fish were 16 to 19 inches and we caught them in 8 to 16 foot of water. We also managed a couple perch and some nice pike.
