Jan 15th Oahe Crappie And Walleye Fishing Report

Took advantage of a nice fish house this long weekend down on a Lake Oahe parked on some good crappie trees. What was supposed to be a short trip turned into 2 nights! My two little girls quickly fell in love with catching shallow water crappies on Lindy quiver spoons and minnows. We caught the fish in 12 to 14 foot of water over trees. Also had buddies out but they were chasing walleyes and they did well fishing the edge of the main river channel in 28 to 33 foot of water. Best time for them was morning until about 10am.
