These North Dakota winds and cooler temperatures have playing havoc on Devils Lake. The water temps just won’t warm up to get these on the feed.

The story has been you can see a lot of fish on the electronics, but they are very difficult to get the to feed for extended periods of time.

As soon as we get some warmer more stable weather, things are going to go gangbusters. Looking at the upcoming weather it may be up down like a toilet seat yet for awhile.

If conditions are right casting cranks and paddle tails at them will produce. Of course the bobbers will also put fish in the boat.

Sakakawea is showing its reputation very well. If you followed the AIM championship it was very evident that Sakakawea is quickly becoming known as the Lake Erie of the west!

The river system near Bismarck is beginning to slow some so you either have to go north or further south to have a little more consistency.
