Missouri River Fishing Report-November 9th, 2025

Things have really changed in the past couple of weeks on the river near Bismarck.  We are seeing a push of fish moving up from Lake Oahe.  Along with this push there are even a few unicorns have shown themselves.

The fish are extremely healthy looking even after making the trek north through the current and sand deltas. The system is over flowing with forage and the walleyes are reaping the benefits.

If you are looking for a unicorn the further south you go the better the chances.  Seems like if you wanting a fish fry that can be done up and down the river.  Access isn’t the best with the low water and most of the ramps have the docks pulled.

Jigs and minnows both pitched and fished vertically are working right off the main channel.  Nothing better than a telltale thump on a jig!

Looks like we have some fishable weather on the way, so if you want to get out before the snow flies get ahold of me to book a trip!
