The lake really began to grow in the early ’90s and with the growth of the lake came the growth to its fame.
People have traveled from all over the globe to come fish and witness this natural phenomenon. The name speaks for itself and is a Lakota name Ble Waka Sica in translation means Lake of the Spirits. It’s a caster’s dream, bobber heaven, and a spinners paradise.
If you want to try for big walleyes in the fall get the jigging raps out or troll leadcore. In other words, if there is a way you like to fish you can probably catch them that way on this body of water!
