Sorry this report is a day late. Been traveling to get my boat wrapped down here in Minnesota so been burning the midnight oil. Super excited to reveal the new look for Mike Peluso Outdoors & Guide Service.

Anyway, my days are numbered here on the river unfortunately. Only 3 more guide trips left this week, and I’m off to Devils Lake and Lake Sakakawea for summer.

What’s happening on the river? Get the kiddos out asap! The fish (males) especially are biting extremely well on pretty much anything you want to throw in the water at them.

You can get kids super excited right now and that’s what it is all about!

Like I mentioned earlier I’ll be starting on Devil Lake here first so expect the fishing reports to change to up there for a few weeks before switching to Sakakawea. I do get sone crossover reports also.

I have some dates in August and it’s never too early to start thinking river fall trips as those filled up extremely fast last fall. Stay tuned to my social media pages as I will release my new partnership! Super excited!

What an interesting week on Lake Sakakawea.  Lots of things happening all at the same time. In my line of work it definitely keeps me on my toes.  The fish have decided to go deep!  Or have they? I'll get to this in a minute.  Of course if you...
