Missouri River Fishing Report-March 26th, 2023

I did a video update of our current situation up here on the Missouri River near Bismarck. The snow isn’t melting very fast which is a good and a bad thing.

If you haven’t seen the video go check it on my Facebook page or my YouTube page at @mike-peluso-outdoors.

We do have open water to the north of us. Obviously the Garrison Tailrace is open and if someone got busy at the Washburn boat ramp and Stanton boat ramp we could have a few more options.

As of right now I still have about a week and a half before my first open water trip, so we will continue to monitor things.

The one thing I will tell all my upcoming clients. If we fish the tailrace don’t expect to catch a ton of fish.

It would be a quality over quantity, but it’s a very unique experience getting a chance to fish up there. It’s definitely unlike anything else you’ve experienced.

I’m currently trying to fill in a couple of random dates for both Devils Lake and Lake Sakakawea. If you are interested in fishing get ahold of me and we will see if we can utilize a couple of those dates.
