Sorry I’m getting this report up here a little later today this Sunday. I was pulling a little double time this week with fishing and coaching hockey.
Last week was a week filled with wind, pre fishing, and the big muddy fall tournament. This week it was a chance to go back through it all again to see what’s changed.
First major change is the water has dropped considerably. It is however settling in finally and some of the potential spots are beginning to form.
We still haven’t seen a big push of fish up near Bismarck quite yet. It should happen here eventually, as soon as the water temps begin to drop things will begin to happen.
I will be hitting it hard starting tomorrow. Stay tuned and I’ll keep you updated on what is happening on the river. Also, the bite was pretty good this weekend on both Devils Lake and Lake Sakakawea. Lots of options right now to get in on some good fishing yet this fall!
